Moët was always my go to Champagne, as that was what my Parents had for special occasions. On an upgraded flight from far off lands, I was served several glasses of Bollinger. By the end of the flight, 9 hours later, I had developed a taste for this biscuity marvel. Very smooth and with slight overtones of damp cardboard, it never disappoints. Now I’m sold, and dear Moët is relegated to a very close second.

How can you go wrong with Bollinger? Worth the price, especially when on offer. Had the privilege of a Bolli tour in Äy, and can appreciate why this is both better and costs more than many NV champagnes. Wonderful in every respect.

I don't drink Champagne/Prosecco/Cava/Bubbly/whatever to try to be 'posh' or 'snobby', I really do enjoy drinking and enjoying it and like most things, I have my favourites! Now Bollinger is my favourite 'Every Day' Champagne. Some bottles of Bubbly can be a little too dry, fizzy etc. etc., we all have a unique palate, but for my taste personally, I find Bollinger to be extremely drinkable, I think it has just enough bubbles and for me, it is what my Dad and I call 'Creamy' or 'Buscuity'. It has a fabulous nose (some Bubbly has a certain smell that when putting to your mouth to take a sip/gulp up to you' :-) ... It can smell a little off putting but can taste amazing after your first sip/gulp. But Bollinger has an exquisite aroma that is delicate yet it makes your mouth water! For me, you can't go wrong with it (and the same goes for the Rose, what a treat)?! I would highly recommend that you at least give it a try, you can get it for a great price these days with offers, deals and cashback etc., but I'd say 'go on, why not'?! X

A great classic champagne with a golden colour. It has very fine bubbles. The nose has aromatic complexity with ripe fruit and a spicy aroma, with hints of cooked apple, apple Charlotte and peaches. On tasting, there is a subtle vibrancy. silky bubbles rise releasing flavours of apple, pear, fresh bread or brioche and spicy aromas with notes of crushed walnuts.
Pair with all fish, including shellfish and grilled lobster. It also goes well with poultry such as turkey and white meats, nuts and instead of prosecco try with Italian dishes such as anti pasta prosciutto & cheeses & Parmesan. Great with Spanish meat and cheese based Tapas dishes

And who can blame here when Bollinger Special Cuvee is so sublime. There is simply no other competition in the House NV category (well maybe Louis Roederer comes close). The Pinot Noir comes through strong, with deep and rich mushroomy notes. If you want to impress avoid the tacky labels like Veuve and Moet, and stick to something that has both heritage and class. Why else would this be James Bond's Champagne House of choice?

I just love the sublime and complex flavour, with a lingering taste and oodles of bubbles. It's just a class above the rest as a fizz for that special occcasion.
